Job Description As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and distributing information about cyber threats, supporting system protection and risk management. You will collaborate with teams, identifying potential attacks, assessing vulnerabilities, and contributing to proactive defense strategies.
Main responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from open-source sources, the dark web, threat intelligence feeds, and security reports.
- Identify indicators of compromise (IoC) and analyze attackers' tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
- Provide support to the security team to integrate threat intelligence into incident response and defense processes.
- Prepare technical reports and briefings for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to threat management.
- Stay up to date on trends and developments in the field of cyber threat intelligence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience in the field.
- Knowledge of the main cyber threats, attackers, and their methodologies.
- Experience with threat intelligence tools, SIEM, and threat analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and summarizing skills to produce clear and useful reports.
- Good command of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work in a team, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving orientation.
NICE TO HAVE
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, eJPT, CISSP).
- Experience with OSINT tools and data analysis for threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for task automation.
- Participation in cybersecurity communities or research projects.
